What I do

Start with a call about where you stand. Then four kinds of ongoing work, chosen based on what your business needs. You only pay for what your business actually needs.

What I won't claim

I can't promise any placement. Nobody controls what an assistant says. I make it easy for AI to find your business online.

Start here

Start with a call

Book a call and we will talk through your business, the questions buyers ask, and which layer to start with.

In ongoing work, I record for each answer:

  • Whether you are absent, cited, mentioned or recommended
  • Who gets named instead of you
  • Which sources the answer leans on
  • Assistants tested: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and Perplexity, plus Google AI Overviews and AI Mode where they appear

Pricing on request, based on your scope.

01Ongoing work

Four layers. Your situation decides the order.

Most businesses need some of each. On our call we figure out which layer is holding you back most, so that's where I start.

  • 01 / Foundations

    Foundations fix

Make sure assistants can reach your site, read it, and understand who you are.

This is the base layer. If a crawler is blocked, or your content only loads with JavaScript, the rest of the work has little to stand on.

    • Crawler access in robots.txt for OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot, Claude-SearchBot, Googlebot and Bingbot
    • Your main content present in the raw HTML
    • Organization, Service and FAQ schema, filled in with real data
    • An llms.txt file that points to your key pages
    • The same name, phone and description everywhere

Why it matters: OpenAI says sites should not block OAI-SearchBot if they want to appear in ChatGPT search. See OpenAI's note. One line in robots.txt can do that by accident.

  • 02 / Entity and listings

    Entity and listings work

Make your business facts match across the places assistants look.

Assistants compare what your site says with what the rest of the web says. I clean up the profiles and listings that matter for your kind of business.

    • Google Business Profile, where your business is eligible
    • Bing Places
    • Apple Business Connect
    • The directories and review platforms assistants cite, taken from your test results

Why it matters: When your sources agree, an assistant has less reason to doubt your details. When they conflict, it may skip you or get you wrong.

  • 03 / Answer pages

    Answer pages

Pages that answer the exact questions buyers ask, backed by sources.

Your site probably says what you do. Answer pages say what buyers want to know, in their words, with facts they can check.

    • Pages that answer the exact questions in your prompt set
    • Comparison pages and “how to choose” pages
    • Sourced facts: quotes and figures with links to where they come from

Why it matters: In the GEO paper by Aggarwal et al. (KDD 2024), adding citations, quotations and statistics raised visibility in generative engine answers in their tests. Read the paper.

  • 04 / Re-tests

    Monthly re-tests and report

The same prompt set every month, and a written report of what changed.

This is how you judge the work. Same questions, same assistants, same clean method, compared month to month.

    • The rung for each prompt in each assistant, beside last month's
    • Who got named instead, and which sources answers leaned on
    • The work I did that month, listed plainly
    • What I plan next, and why

Why it matters: Assistant answers shift on their own. Without a fixed test, you can't tell real change from noise. See the sample report outline.

02Pricing

Pricing on request.

I don't post prices, because the same price wouldn't be fair to a one-location shop and a business with ten services in six areas.

After our call, I'll tell you what I'd do, in what order, and what it costs. Plainly, in writing.

  • LocationsEach location can mean its own listings, profiles and area questions to test.
  • ServicesMore services means more questions buyers ask, and more answer pages to write.
  • PromptsThe size of the prompt set decides how much testing each monthly re-test takes.
  • Which layers you needSome businesses mostly need foundations. Others need listings or answer pages more. Our call sorts out which.

03Not included

What I won't do.

Some shortcuts exist. They put your name at risk, and I don't offer them at any price.

  • No fake reviews. Not written by me, not bought, not swapped.
  • No hidden text aimed at AI. Nothing on your pages that a person can't see.
  • No paid “guaranteed” placements. No one can sell a spot in an assistant's answer.
  • No spam posting on Reddit or forums to plant your name.
  • No promises of rankings, citations or dates. I'll show you what changed instead.

04Questions

About the services.

Can I hire you for just one piece?

Yes, if that's what your situation points to. Some businesses mostly need the foundations fixed. Others need listings or answer pages more. I'll tell you which, and why.

Who writes the answer pages?

I write them. You check the facts before anything goes live, because you know your business better than anyone.

Do I need a Google Business Profile?

If your business is eligible, it's worth having and keeping accurate. Not every business is eligible, and that's fine. Bing Places, Apple Business Connect and the right directories still matter.

I already have a web developer or SEO person. Is that a problem?

No. My findings come in writing, so your developer or SEO person can make the site changes if you prefer. I'll still run the tests and report what changed.

How do I get a price?

Start with a call. Once I know where you stand, I'll tell you what I'd do and what it would cost. No pressure either way.

Next step

Start with a call.

Call or email to set it up. You'll know where you stand, who gets named instead, and what I'd do first.
